"Recent visited Pezzetino Pizza with a mate. The Pizza was very good. Better than expected. We both appreciated the pizza base & the overall blend of quality ingredients. Wine - Montepulciano, was a great food & wine pairing. Service : proactive & energetic in their unique way. Very good. Take away Cabonara : Unfortunately, a major disappointment. For $22 it was about entree size in serving from a small plastic container. The overall flavour profile lacked depth of Cabonara characteristics. Too buttery with a distinctive herb /parsley profile dominated by pasta. There was only a small portion of bacon & onion."

"What a gorgeous hidden gem in Essendon. Felt like I was in a cosy little restaurant in Europe. Marty (host) what a treasure, made us feel very welcome. "Great pizza and lovely people. Only 1 table left which was reserved. The owner took the trouble to call the people who had reserved it as they were half an hour late, they had forgotten to call and cancel, the owner was so understanding, and luckily we got the table. Pizza was fantastic, as were the arancini balls. Very reasonable prices too."

"My wife and I visited Pezzetinos for the first time last night. Even though it was past 9:30pm and they close at 10, we still received a very warm welcome. The decoration was simple but cozy and inviting. The man at the pizza counter, who I think was the owner, was kind, friendly and welcoming, and the staff were also very good. The food was excellent. I had the Mexicana pizza and really enjoyed it – the crust was tender, the flavour was spot on, and the presentation was perfect. My wife had pasta and she loved it too. If I could make one small suggestion, it would be to make the sign a little more clear for people like us who didn’t know what Pezzetinos was, maybe adding the word pizzeria or a pizza symbol. Overall, the food, the owner and the atmosphere were all fantastic. We will definitely be back, maybe for lasagna on the chef’s special night."
